About Freedom of Espresso
Freedom of Espresso is a coffee shop in Syracuse, New York. It is listed at 115 Solar St Ste 101, Syracuse, NY 13204, which places it among the local businesses of Syracuse that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ4 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Freedom of Espresso at (315) 424-7650; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 244 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Syracuse and suggests consistent service.
Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great spot to grab an espresso drink and a little nosh. Go across the street and relax in Franklin Sq to drink your coffee. Very peaceful.

I am visiting Syracuse for the first time and came across this jewel in town. I had one of the best cappuccinos Iβve ever had. Very clean and welcoming place. The barista was very skilled. Highly recommended.

This is such cute gem of a coffee shop! Loved the options and diversity of tea! The barista was fantastic and helped me decide on a matcha. The cappuccino was a bit diluted with milk but still delicious

Great little cafe in a great location. I just ordered a coffee with a shot of butterscotch, but it was pretty tasty. The building the cafe is situated looks to have been an old manufacturing plant with red brick and wooden beams but, with the plants and artwork in the room, it's quite a nice atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient. Great place to grab a coffee and sit in Franklin Square Park on a nice Saturday afternoon.

Definitely the place to go if you need to do some work or journaling. Bit pricey for a coffee shop, but the vibes are immaculate and the coffee is decent. The barista is always so nice and they are willing to help you figure out what you want. Their homemade whipped cream is to die for. Always ask for their homemade whipped cream. Definitely recommend if you want to do coffee and climbing on the same day, as it's right next to a climbing gym π
